LINCOLN, CA (MPG) — A new best friend may be closer than you think. FieldHaven Feline Center is inviting the community to begin their own "origin story" by adopting a cat or kitten during a special adoption promotion running July 10 through July 18. 

This adoption is inspired by the excitement surrounding the release of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," the campaign encourages families to discover the extraordinary bond that begins with adoption.

During the promotion, adopters will receive $20 off adoption fees for all kittens and $10 off adoption fees for all cats one year of age and older.

Plus, FieldHaven is hosting a special kitten adoption event Saturday, July 11 from noon to 4:00 p.m. giving superhuman adopters a chance to champion the reduced adoption fees. You can swing into action and meet kittens at your friendly neighborhood Pet Food Express at 1009 Galleria Boulevard in Roseville.

The event will feature FieldHaven's largest selection of adoptable kittens. Because adoptions are completed on a first-come, first-served basis, prospective adopters are encouraged to arrive early.

"Whether it's an energetic kitten climbing to the top of a cat tree or a sleek black cat waiting patiently for someone to notice them, each cat is ready to become someone's everyday hero."

Those unable to attend Saturday's event can visit the shelter, located at 2754 Ironwood Lane in Lincoln, open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. throughout the promotion.

Families interested in adopting are encouraged to visit during the promotion and meet the many cats and kittens waiting to begin their next adventure.
