ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) - The Placer County Deputy Sheriffs Association, Roseville Police Officers Association and Rocklin Police Officers Association have endorsed Dave Bass for Superior Court Judge.

The clean sweep of the three largest associations of sworn officers in Placer County sends a strong message that the public safety community stands behind challenger Dave Bass in his campaign against appointed incumbent Judge Leon Dixson.

“I am honored to have the support of the men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep Placer County safe,” said Bass. “They know how important it is to have Judges who will uphold the law and hold convicted criminals accountable.”

Dave Bass is an experienced prosecutor, having served as a California Deputy Attorney General and a Deputy District Attorney for both Placer and Sacramento counties. As a Prosecutor, Bass has worked closely with victims and law enforcement to put dangerous criminals behind bars while ensuring that the constitutional rights of crime victims, and of the accused, are upheld.

Bass is running for Superior Court Judge against Leon Dixson, who was appointed to the bench by Governor Gavin Newsom in 2024.
