STATELINE, NV (MPG) -
The Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRTA) will open registration for its highly-sought after Guided-Thru Hike program later this month, offering hikers the opportunity to complete the full Tahoe Rim Trail over a summer season with the support of experienced TRTA guides.

Early bird registration for TRTA members opens Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. PST, followed by general public registration on Wednesday, Feb. 25.  The Guided-Thru Hike is one of TRTA's most popular programs and typically fills quickly, often during the member early access period.

The Guided-Thru Hike supports participants through the full 170-plus mile Tahoe Rim Trail with structured itineraries, group support, trail education and expert guides. The program is designed to help hikers successfully complete the entire trail while building skills, confidence and connection to the landscape and to one another.

The TRTA encourages those interested in participating to review program details and prepare to register promptly when enrollment opens. Membership provides early access to registration and helps support the ongoing stewardship, maintenance and education efforts that keep the Tahoe Rim Trail accessible to all.
