TAHOE CITY, CA (MPG) - Second Fridays continue in February with a full day of Galentine’s Day celebrations on Friday, Feb. 13, bringing fun, festive entertainment, activities, specials and nightlife to Tahoe City, the West Shore and Alpine Meadows. The community-wide event invites friends to gather, shop, sip, dine and celebrate friendship while supporting local businesses.

Galentine’s Day is all about spending time with your favorite people with something for everyone — from brunch and shopping to wine tastings, live music, creative workshops and après-style fun throughout the region.

The day kicks off with morning and midday experiences including a Galentine’s Day Brunch Party, pop-up events, shopping specials and all-day food and drink features at favorite Tahoe City restaurants. Throughout the afternoon and evening, visitors can enjoy wine tastings, happy hours, pop-up markets, live music, DJs and Valentine’s-inspired dinner specials across multiple venues.

“Galentine’s Day is a perfect opportunity to celebrate friendship while showcasing the creativity and hospitality of our local businesses,” said Katherine Hill, executive director of the the Tahoe City Downtown Association.

Free rides are available throughout the day and evening via TART Connect and the TART bus, making it easy to explore multiple locations safely and conveniently.
