ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) - The Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) proudly recognizes the invaluable contributions of community and business partners through its Gold in Education Partner Recognition Program. This program honors organizations whose collaboration, sponsorship or resource contributions significantly enhance Placer County Office of Education programs and support the diverse student populations we serve.

At the December Placer County Board of Education meeting, Placer County Office of Education was thrilled to recognize the Assistance League of Greater Placer.

For many years, the Assistance League has supported Placer County Office of Education State Preschool programs by providing new clothing, shoes, books and other essential items that help our youngest learners begin their educational journey with confidence and dignity.

This year, their impact expanded even further through their service on the Advisory Committee for the Placer County Reads Literacy Initiative, where their voice helps shape our collective effort to inspire a lifelong love of reading and ensure every child has access to enriching literacy experiences at school and at home.

"We are grateful for the Assistance League of Greater Placer’s continued leadership and the lasting difference they make for children and families across our county," said Placer County Superintendent of Schools Gayle Garbolino-Mojica.

"Their partnership strengthens our work and exemplifies the kind of community commitment we are proud to honor through the Gold in Education Partner Recognition Program."
