ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) - Walmart customers in Rocklin and Citrus Heights celebrated the completion of renovations at the newly transformed Walmart Supercenters at 5454 Crossings Drive and 7010 Auburn Road on Thursday and Friday morning; just in time for the holiday shopping season.

The Rocklin and Citrus Heights store managers and associates both marked the occasion with ribbon-cutting ceremonies, community celebrations, and grant presentations to local organizations, including the Prostate & Breast Cancer Foundation and Fearlessly Fighting T1D in Rocklin and the Citrus Heights Police Activities League and Sacramento Food Bank in Citrus Heights. Members of the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce, Citrus Heights Area Chamber of Commerce, and other local partners were there to greet guests and connect with the residents.

“Our Rocklin store is evolving in ways that truly reflect the community we serve,” said Rocklin Store Manager Kris Decker. “From a smoother shopping experience to a wider selection of products our customers have asked for, we’re excited for shoppers to see the improvements and enjoy a store designed with them in mind.”

“The Citrus Heights store remodel is focused on delivering a better shopping experience for our customers,” said Citrus Heights Store Manager Denis Agapov.

“With an open, more spacious layout and fresh modern design to a renovated checkout area and new brands to explore, every change was made to support our customers’ needs.”

During the celebrations, store leaders and associates highlighted the store’s changes as well as the new interactive features available to customers, including a completely refreshed look throughout the store, featuring new flooring, fixtures, paint inside and out, and updated signage for more intuitive shopping, as well as exciting, hands-on displays that encourage customers to explore, touch, and experience a wide range of products and store areas.

Additional improvements include an expanded Online Pickup & Delivery (OPD) area, increasing convenience and efficiency, new fashion-forward elements featuring digital displays, and stylish vignettes in Fashion, Home, and Infants, a refrigerated pet section for added customer convenience, and expanded Dairy, Fresh, and Grab and Go departments to help meet customer needs.

A New Mothers’ Room has been added, offering a comfortable and private space for nursing parents, as well as renovated restrooms for a fresh, updated experience, and upgraded Pharmacy and Vision centers, providing more comfort for customers.
