State Theatre Acting Company (STAC) will perform their holiday special "It's a Wonderful Life: Live Radio Show" Dec. 12 and 13 at First Congregational Church of Living.

AUBURN, CA (MPG) - Bring the whole family and enjoy the State Theatre Acting Company’s (STAC’s) presentation of the ageless classic "It’s a Wonderful Life" as a live 1940s radio broadcast in front of a “studio” audience at the First Congregational Church of Auburn.

State Theatre Acting Company’s ensemble cast brings the story of small-town idealist George Bailey to captivating life as events unfold one fateful Christmas Eve. Sponsored by Dean Prigmore & Patrice Taylor and Old Town Pizza, this two-act show with an intermission will be in full costume. Live Foley sound effects and beautiful, original projections help set the scene.

Performances are Friday, Dec.12 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Auburn, 710 Auburn Ravine Road in Auburn. Many thanks to the First Congregational Church of Auburn for making these shows possible!

State Theatre Acting Company’s live radio shows have grown in popularity which has resulted in standing-room-only crowds. Arrive early to choose your best view. Seating at the church is somewhat limited since this will be held in the Sanctuary. A full range of State Theatre Concessions will be available including a special themed cocktail.

Tickets can be purchased on Auburn State Theatre’s website, AuburnStateTheatre.org, or call the Box Office (530) 885-0156.

First Congregational Church of Auburn is at 710 Auburn Ravine Rd, Auburn.
