PCSBA Announces 2025 Trustee of the Year

ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) - The Placer County School Boards Association (PCSBA) is pleased to recognize the 2025 Trustee of the Year: Rob Baquera, President, Roseville City School District Board of Education.

"On behalf of the Placer County School Boards Association, I congratulate Rob Baquera on this well-deserved honor," said Rachelle Price, PCSBA president. "Rob’s steady leadership, both on his board and throughout his community, has been invaluable. His commitment to service reflects the very best of Placer County and strengthens the work we do on behalf of students and families."

Baquera was elected to the board in 2018 and is an active community volunteer, serving with groups such as the Rotary Club of Roseville and Safe Kids Placer County. He manages Government Relations for the City of Roseville and brings experience in crime prevention, site security and crisis communication.

As we celebrate this year’s Trustee of the Year, PCSBA also extends appreciation to all nominees for their commitment to students, families and educators: 
Christina Agee, Ackerman Charter School District, Aron Ballou, Newcastle Elementary School District, Pete Constant, Roseville Joint Union High School District, Amber Ordway, Foresthill Union School District.

The Placer County School Boards Association is a countywide organization representing locally elected public school district and community college district governing boards throughout Placer County. PCSBA supports strong school boards, promotes student success, provides professional learning and networking and honors trustees for their service. It is affiliated with the California School Boards Association and serves as an active unit within the statewide network of school board leadership.
