AUBURN, CA (MPG) - Audience favorites “The Rhythm Riders” bring their popular Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline Tribute show to Auburn on Saturday, June 14, at 7 p.m.
Country music fans will enjoy an evening of Cash and Cline’s greatest hits, including “Big River,” “Crazy” and “Wreck of the Old 97” performed by top-level musicians with love and authenticity. A special treat will be a selection of beloved songs by Outlaw Country stars, including Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and more.
Johnny Price’s uncanny vocal and physical resemblance to Johnny Cash has delighted audiences from California to Ireland. He captures Cash’s ability to deliver a story and a melody so well, his audiences feel as though they have had a walk with the “Man in Black” himself.
Award-winning vocalist Dee Price masterfully recreates legendary Country music artist Patsy Cline with sassy, spirited, and soulful renditions of Patsy’s iconic songs. Dee captures the unique style of one of America’s greatest female singers while The Rhythm Riders give attention to every detail.
The Rhythm Riders are: Larry Tracy – Pedal Steel, Guitars; Steve French – Lead Guitar, Vocals; Bob Robbins – Drums; and Greg Brooding – Bass.
Sponsored by Old Town Pizza and Tim and Colleen Sands, this show will take place at Placer High School’s Theater, at High and Agard Streets, in Auburn. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Auburn State Theatre’s ongoing Restoration Project.
