“Our job in the California State Legislature is to be the voice of the constituents we represent."

SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Today, Assemblywoman Megan Dahle (R-Bieber) issued the following statement upon being sworn in as the state representative for Assembly District 1:

“Today marks our swearing-in for the 2021-22 legislative session and I could not be more proud to once again be representing California’s First Assembly District. As we begin another legislative year, it is imperative that our focus today and every day remain on prioritizing the work of the people we serve, which means enough executive orders and living under Governor Newsom’s one-man rule.

“Our job in the California State Legislature is to be the voice of the constituents we represent. This means fighting for our students to have access to a quality education, putting an end to corrupt bureaucracy, helping the sick, fighting for our small businesses, and allowing local government to participate in the process of public governance.

“Californians are fed up, frustrated, and tired. Now is the time for us to come together to work on meaningful policy and ensure all Californians are given a seat at the table.”

Assemblywoman Megan Dahle represents the 1st Assembly District in the California Legislature, which includes portions of Butte and Placer counties, along with Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, and Siskiyou counties.
