Sierra College Music Department Presents a Spring Band Concert
The Sierra College Music Department is proud to present a Spring Band Concert on Sunday, May 14th at 3:00pm in Dietrich Theatre on the Sierra College Rocklin Campus.
Join Greg McLaughlin and the Sierra College Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony for an afternoon of traditional and contemporary instrumental and symphonic music that celebrates the rich history of the band idiom. Works to be performed include “Summer Dances,” by Brian Balmages, “On the Mall,” by Edwin Goldman, “Chorale and Alleluia,” by Howard Hanson, “Amazing Grace,” arranged by Frank Ticheli, and Robert Sheldon’s “In the Center Ring.”
The Sierra College Rocklin Campus is located at 5100 Sierra College Blvd, Rocklin, CA. Admission for this concert is $6 student/senior and $10 general. Tickets are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the Sierra College Music Department.
